1. Who we are
A TECH is a computer and electronics store based at Zarbat Plaza, Gammi Adda, The Mall, Abbottabad 22020, Pakistan. We sell laptops, computers, monitors, parts and accessories through our shop, our website atechpk.com and WhatsApp. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean A TECH, and “you” means anyone who visits our website or buys from us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you order: your full name, email address, phone number, delivery address (street, city, province and zip code) and the products you buy.
- When you create an account: your name, email, phone number and password (your password is stored encrypted — we can never see it).
- When you contact us: the messages you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or on social media, and any files you choose to share, such as payment screenshots.
- When you write a review: your name and the review you post publicly on a product.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information such as your device, browser and pages you visit, which helps keep the site working and secure.
- Your cart and recently searched products, stored on your own device so the shop remembers them.
We do not collect or store your bank card numbers on our website.
3. How we use your information
- To process, pack and deliver your orders, and send you order and tracking updates.
- To confirm payments and contact you about your order on WhatsApp, phone or email.
- To run your account — showing your orders, tracking and the offers made for you.
- To answer your questions and provide support and warranty help.
- To improve our website, products and service, and to keep the site safe from fraud and abuse.
- To share offers and new stock, only if you’ve chosen to hear from us — you can say “stop” anytime.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements in Pakistan.
4. WhatsApp & payment screenshots
Many of our customers order or confirm payment on WhatsApp. When you tap a WhatsApp button on our site, your message (for example your order number and name) is pre-written for you — nothing is sent until you press send yourself.
If you pay by bank transfer, JazzCash or EasyPaisa, you may send us a screenshot of your payment. We use it only to verify that order, and we do not share it with anyone else.
WhatsApp is a service run by Meta. Messages you send through it are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
7. How long we keep it
- Order records are kept as long as needed for delivery, warranty, returns and our tax and accounting duties.
- Your account stays until you ask us to delete it.
- WhatsApp messages and payment screenshots are kept only as long as needed to handle your order and any follow-up.
8. Keeping your information safe
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, passwords are stored encrypted, and only our team can access order details — and only when they need to for your order. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will act quickly if anything goes wrong.
Each customer can only see their own orders and details in their account. Please keep your password private and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.
9. Your choices & rights
You can always:
- See and update your details in My Account.
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and information (we may need to keep some order records for legal or tax reasons).
- Stop receiving offers from us at any time.
Just contact us and we’ll help — usually within a few days.
10. Children
Our store is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please shop with the help of a parent or guardian. We don’t knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we’ll remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our store grows or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will always show the latest version. If we make a big change, we’ll make it clear on our website.
